GR Mountain was founded by Giorgio Rocca, former World Cup champion, born in Chur, in the Canton of Grisons, on August 6, 1975, to a Swiss mother and an Italian father.
Giorgio Rocca is one of the most successful Italian skiers of all time and, during his competitive career, matched the records of legends such as Alberto Tomba, Ingemar Stenmark, and Marc Girardelli. In 2006, he had the honor of being Italy’s flag bearer at the XX Winter Olympic Games in Turin.
After retiring from competition in 2010, he created GR Mountain, channeling his experience and passion into a project that combines sport and excellence with the aim of offering a wide range of high-level mountain services.
Today, GR Mountain is present in some of the most iconic Alpine destinations — St. Moritz, Crans Montana, Livigno, Cervinia, and Madonna di Campiglio. Through a mix of directly managed locations and affiliates, the company carries forward its distinctive philosophy: #FINDYOURWAY.
Whether it’s skiing, snowboarding, hiking, or other outdoor activities, GR Mountain has one clear goal: to nurture each client’s passion for the mountains, making every experience unique, tailored, and suitable for all levels.
